Fred Lockard - Councilman

Fred Lockard II was first appointed to City Council in 1972. He was then elected to each term as councilman until 2000.  In 2004, he once again ran for council and has served since that time with a total of 45 years of service to the citizens of Montgomery.  Fred has served on many committees over his lengthy time as councilman.  He currently serves as the chair of the finance committee and on the Upper Kanawha Valley Strategic Initiative Council. Fred worked for Dupont for 29years and retired in 2008. Until recently, Fred and his wife Sandra owned an operated Up the Creek Mustard. ​​​
